Name: Italy Veneziano
Aliases: North Italy, Feliciano, Feliciano Vargas, Venezia, Feli
Age: Appears to be 19 or 20. Couple of centuries old in reality.
Build: Average height for an Italian male. Not muscular, slightly pudgy, but not fat. He’s soft, but has a hidden strength. Sometimes.
Origin: Ancient Rome is his grandfather.
Occupation: Part time at an Italian restaurant. A true Italian restaurant.
Where do they live: Officially, he lives in a small, slightly run down apartment with his older brother. However, he’s rarely at his house as he prefers visiting his friends and staying overnight whenever possible.
Eyes: Brownish
Hair: Brownish. Cut short, though sometimes appears a little shaggy. He has one unmanageable curl sticking out of his head.
Scars: None that are obviously apparently. He has a couple of faint ones, but nothing significant.
Attire: Veneziano dresses rather fashionably. High end, Italian clothes that he couldn’t possibly afford if it weren’t for the fact that his famiglia is supportive and well connected.
Accessories: There’s this Iron Cross necklace that he almost always wears…
WOC: He carries a switchblade at the behest of a few people close to him, but he prefers not to fight if he can avoid. He has a tendency to leave it behind most of the time, as well.
Appearance: Veneziano looks to be a young man in his late teens, early twenties. He holds himself a bit straighter than a typical nineteen year old boy. A fighter is the last thing he comes across as being, but “wimp” isn’t near the top, either.
Personality: At first glance Veneziano appears to be a dimwitted, airheaded moron, completely oblivious and useless. He likes to eat, he likes to cook, and he likes to avoid fighting and conflict. He’s more about being a lover than a fighter and wishes that things weren’t quite so complicated. However, he does pay attention and see more than he lets on; he simply prefers not to act on it. Ignorance is bliss is his motto and he has no problem playing it up.
Special skills: He’s a fairly decent pick pocket when the occasion calls for it. Oh, and his pasta is to die for.
Weaknesses: Fighting in general. Strategy. Being left and/or betrayed.
Fears: Being completely and utterly alone and unloved. Pasta shortage. Never seeing his family again.
Likes: Pasta. Germany. Art/Drawing.
Dislikes: Fighting. England’s cooking.
History: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_history
While personally loyal to his friends, Italy has a tendency to go for people to protect him and his people. He fights when he has to in order to help his citizens, but as he does not like to fight, he’d rather someone else be in charge and to follow along. That doesn’t mean he hasn’t had his moments of fighting alone or struggling on his own or with others, however, as evidenced when he single handedly beat up Turkey...
When the two kingdoms of Italy united, he was excited to finally get his brother back, but wasn’t expecting things to be quite so different. He was heartbroken to realize that his brother wasn’t quite what he remembered, but he tried to forge a new relationship with him, regardless.
Another important note is that at the end of WWII, Veneziano found it hard to turn his back on Germany. He did it for the good of his people, and honestly, truly expected that him and Germany could still be friends. Knowing how much he hurt Germany has caused him to step back a bit in his relationship to him, though he still considers him one of his nearest, dearest friends.
Love Interest: There was someone, long ago…
Quotes: “Ve~”

Mythology: www.pitt.edu/~dash/type0510a.html#italy Here’s an Italian version of Cinderella. Little less gory than the Brothers Grimm.
