Name: (Canon characters are expected to remain canon. For OCs, inspiration can be drawn from any realistic source. The trick is to make your character name unique without being silly.)
Aliases: (Does your character have any nicknames or Names given to him/her that
Age: (Remember that a lot of the characters that appear here will be at least a century old. Indicate their actual age as well as the age that they act/appear to be. With canon characters, this is set. With OCs, try to keep in mind the age and character type you believe you will be able to play well.)
Build: (Be as specific with height and weight as you like, it helps other RPers to know how their characters measure up. If you need help with height and weight this is a good resource: www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ Keep in mind that body types should reflect the character as well. Not every vampire is going to be hauntingly beautiful, and not every werewolf is all muscle. Canon characters will be as they are in the source material.)
Origin: (Does not apply to Nation characters).
Occupation: (Does not apply to Nation characters.)
Where do they live: (While it is nice to provide a more general area based on the layout of NYC, a simple description of their home is fine. If giving a more exact location for their home, which can come in handy, DO NOT use a real person’s address, for obvious reasons.)
Eyes: (try to keep this logical: Blue, Green, Brown, Hazel, etc. If it seems like a human being would have the eye color without the aid of contacts it’s all right.)
Hair: (Try to keep OC hairstyles believeable. Even if you’re playing a vampire, full goth attire seems like way too easy of a way for a predator to be noticed; don’t be too outlandish unless you wish to attract attention.)
Scars: (Does your character have any scars. Try to keep these reasonable— nation scars will likely reflect historical events including wars, plagues, and droughts. Maybe your vampire has a scar in the shape of a cross burned into their skin. Maybe your were has a wound from a silver bullet. Maybe your vanilla mortal fell of their bike when they were a kid. If you are wondering whether or not something is beileveable or would fit, please contact an admin to clarify.)
Attire: (If you want to use pictures please just include a link. A note on vampires and werewolves, since there is a wealth of interpretation on those two in particular…some of it more sexualized than others. Keep it classy.)
Accessories: (Does your character have jewelry with particular significance?)
WOC: (Weapon of Choice. Do they have a dagger in their boot, an old Luger under their jacket, magic? The variations can go on and on. Again, there is a lot of potential, but keep subtlety in mind. Most of the world does not know these creatures exist, and police might ask questions.)
Appearance: (Let us know what your character looks like, use full sentences and let us in on the things you haven’t told us about, or tie everything above in together. If you want to use pictures, you can.)
Personality: (Choose a character that you feel you understand and you can play, and remember that characters have flaws. It is important to demonstrate those here.)
Special skills: (This can be as simple as picking a lock, strategy,
Weaknesses: (Can be simple, or complex, just make sure it’s viable for an interesting RP)
Fears: ( Everyone has them. It could be a spider phobia, losing someone they love, or going insane. Urban Fantasy is a genre closely tied with horror, so fears will play a heavy role.)

Dislikes:
History: (Explain an OCs past and what made them the people they are today. For Nations, a link to the Wikipedia article on the country is fine as an overview, you do not have to go over every name and date of significance, but we do ask that you outline what that history was like from their eyes so has to help establish character. Major wars and their emotional responses are important to mention. I understand this can be very tricky considering the dichotomy between history and the humanoid character of the Nation, and admins will work with you if there are any problems.)
Love Interest: (Do they have one? This tends to be subject to change as the RP progresses.)
Quotes: (Does you character have anything they say a lot? This also tends to come with more RP)
Theme Song: (Optional, but kinda fun)
Mythology: (For Nation characters, find at least one article or collection of short stories relating to the mythology of your country and link it here. For other immortal beings that aren’t vampires or werewolves, try to find an article relating to the type of creature they’re supposed to be. Your interpretation of that creature doesn’t have to be exactly the same as it is in the article, but I’d like to see that you did research into the folklore and mythology surrounding it. You never know, it might just come in handy or be a fun plot to explore.)
Code: (Your character’s BB color code, used to indicate their presence in a thread and differentiate them from others.)
